Supporting Palestinian farmers
We’re proud to continue sharing Zaytoun’s award winning extra virgin olive oil – a product of heritage, resilience, and care from Palestinian farmers.
This year, the harvest looks a little different. Due to the situation in Palestine, the certifying body responsible for Fairtrade and Organic marks has withdrawn from the region. As a result, this season’s olive oil is not carrying certification.
The same quality you know and love
What hasn’t changed is the story behind the bottle. This is the very same premium olive oil from Palestine you know and love, grown by dedicated small scale farmers, using traditional and sustainable methods passed down through generations.

Supporting farmers’ livelihoods
To keep trade flowing and make sure that farmers can continue to earn a livelihood from their harvest, Zaytoun extra virgin olive oil is available in a full range of sizes: 250ml, 500ml, 750ml, 1L, and 5L. The only difference is that, for now, the certification logos will be absent.
The good news? A new certifier is already in place, and we expect certified stock to return in the New Year.
In the meantime, we are deeply grateful for your support. Every bottle you purchase sustains farmers, their families, and their communities in Palestine. Together, we can ensure that this remarkable oil continues to reach tables around the world – a testament to resilience, tradition, and hope.
More than just olive oil
Beyond olive oil, Zaytoun’s full range, including Fairtrade Medjoul dates, Palestinian almonds, freekah, matfoul, olive oil soap, and Dead Sea bath salts, are all harvested or prepared by hand. Each product is a testament to the proud heritage and rich culinary traditions of the Palestinian people.
