Spice Kitchen heads to Dragons’ Den

Last night, Spice Kitchen founder Shashi Aggarwal and her son Sanjay stepped into the Dragons’ Den to pitch their family business, proving that you’re never too old to try something new.

For Shashi, the appearance marks another milestone in an entrepreneurial journey that began later in life. Alongside Sanjay, she has grown Spice Kitchen from a family venture inspired by her Indian heritage and love of spices into an internationally recognised brand.

From the kitchen table to Dragons’ Den

Spice Kitchen began with the conversations and traditions of family life, inspired by Shashi’s passion for Indian cooking and her desire to share the flavours, recipes and stories that have been part of her life.

Today, the family-run business offers a range of spices and spice blends, while continuing to put the same emphasis on bringing people together around food.

For Shashi and Sanjay, appearing on Dragons’ Den is another chapter in that story.
