We all need some Egyptian Magic.
I don’t know about you but I love all natural skin care products, free from harsh chemicals that irritate my skin leaving it red and blotchy. What I love even more are natural skin care products that can be used from head to toe; that’s where Egyptian Magic comes in. The all-purpose cream already has a cult following, and it’s becoming more popular everyday with its miraculous healing properties!
Egyptian Magic was founded my LordPharoah ImHotepAmonRa (previously named Westley Howard), a water filter salesmen who was approached by a man named Dr. Imas claiming to know a formula for a skin cream identical to that found in ancient Egyptian tombs. That was in 1986 in Chicago, and over the next two years Dr. Imas, who never revealed his first name or what kind of doctor he was , travelled to Washington to teach Westley Howard how to make the skin cream from olive oil, beeswax, bee pollen, honey, royal jelly and bee propolis.
Egyptian Magic All Purpose Cream is a completely cruelty free moisturiser that honestly has a wealth of uses, absolutely anything you can think of! Customers have used it as a face cream, an eye gel, a hair mask, baby cream, shaving balm, an eye makeup remover and even a remedy for skin problems such as psoriasis and eczema. While Egyptian Magic makes no medical claims, users of the cream have reported that it has improved their skin conditions where conventional skin creams have failed. All you need to do is take a little bit of the cream and rub it into your palms until it becomes an oil which you can then apply to any part of your body you desire.
We’ve been very excited by Egyptian Magic here in the office, testing it out a little ourselves by taking part in our ‘elbow challenge’. For a week we’ve been applying the all-purpose cream to one elbow on a morning to see if we can feel a change, and honestly my left elbow is feeling a lot smoother than it did this time last week. Don’t just take my word for it though, Emma our Buying Admin Assistant says that she can actually feel the difference! My only point would be that it can feel a bit greasy if you use too much, and you only need a small amount which means it will last a while.
And if you think we are just being biased maybe you should know about the celebrities who swear by Egyptian Magic. You’ll find a pot of the all-purpose skin cream on Liv Tyler’s bathroom counter; Madonna won’t leave home without it; Rosie Huntington-Whitely uses it to keep her skin moisturised when she’s travelling; Emily Blunt uses it to get beautiful and well-nourished skin; Rashida Jones says it’s great for everything, including lip balm and stretch marks, and Kate Hudson even uses it in her hair! These are only a few of the many celebrities who use Egyptian Magic as part of their everyday skin care regime, so it must be good!
