How Greener Cleaner was born

Back in 2007 after a short career break, having taken some time out to look after her two sons, Megan and her husband Laurence decided to embark bringing an exciting, high quality eco-friendly brand to the UK market. 

With their experience from large corporate companies, they wanted to make a difference and were excited to launch Greener Cleaner.

A simple concept

The concept was simple. Offer high performance eco cleaning with exceptional quality products that are kinder to the environment while offering great value for money to the consumer.  Staying true to the brand name was critical and making sure they could help protect and look after our precious oceans and environment was essential.

Greener Cleaner focused on two main areas:

• brushes and tools made from 100% recycled plastic and certified to meet Global Recycled Standards
• cleaning cloths and mop that uses just water for cleaning

This collection includes the Pot & Pan Brush, Dish Brush, Scrubbing Brush, Utility Brush, Bottle Brush, Between the Gaps Detail Brush, Grout Brush, Dustpan & Brush, and many others. 

Megan thought about how people would use them and made them unique by designing them with her own moulds. Plus, they’re all guaranteed to be dishwasher safe for a year.

Cleaning cloths and mop

This range makes sure there is no need for harmful and dangerous chemical cleaners which damage and hurt the environment and are dangerous for allergy and asthma sufferers.

Everything in this range is endorsed by Allergy UK as safe for Allergy and Asthma sufferers. They’re also 100% machine wash guaranteed so they can be used repeatedly unlike many single use cloths and wipes.

1% for the Planet

Throughout the journey of bringing their products to market, Megan was passionate about giving back. That’s why Greener Cleaner have partnered with 1% for the Planet, a charity comprised of a global network of businesses, non-profits, and individuals dedicated to preserving our planet’s health.

With every purchase of Greener Cleaner products, 1% of the sales revenue is allocated to supporting these charitable initiatives, aiding in the global effort to clean our oceans.

In the UK, their partner for 1% for the Planet is Surfers Against Sewage, an organisation tirelessly fighting plastic pollution. They work diligently to clean and minimise the impact of single use plastics along our coastlines day in and day out.
