Been eating this for decades and it always surprises me how good it tastes, it has not changed. It is not too sweet and I use small amo7nts instead of sugar for cooked fruit, cakes and biscuits, lovely and treacly in consistency. Decent price and happy to buy 2 at the price. Pure and delicious, also use as a topping.

Classic, delicious - great on peanut butter, great instead of marmalade, great if something maybe South Indian asks for tamarind and you don't have any to hand - like Bhel Poori, or Dahi Vada.

I've been buying this spread for more than twenty years- it's gorgeous! Sweet, but with a nice tang to it. It's fabulous in flapjacks- warm a tub of pear and apple spread, add a little oil (coconut/olive/sunflower), a mashed banana and a mixture of jumbo and porridge oats (gluten free oats if needed), and you have a sugar free, vegan, scrumptious snack bar!
