My first time using a shampoo bar. I was happy to generate a decent lather with the bar, but it took me a lot of repeats to get a whole head full - I felt like I used at least a third more water in the shower. Moreover, when I was done, and my hair dry, it was completely non-shiney, felt half-dirty and if I was fussy would have meant re-washing. Perhaps if you have long hair it's not the solution. I'm going back to bulk buying big shampoo refills and diluting with 50% water, one bottle lasts a few years that way, I think I can justify the plastic!
