Beyoncé is going to help us all go vegan

As Beyoncé has said, if she can do it, anyone can! Together with exercise physiologist Marco Borges, the superstar has launched the 22 Days Nutrition plant-based home delivery meal service. Now granted it’s not available to everyone (the service is currently only available in the United States) but it’s still a great idea, so many people are put off a vegan lifestyle because they think it will be too difficult, but this 22 day meal plan is a simple solution based on the idea that it takes 21 days to break a habit.

Beyoncé took the 22 day vegan challenge along with husband Jay Z in the winter of 2013 and since then she’s been incorporating more plant-based foods into her diet it looks like now she wants to encourage others to do the same. Eating a plant-based diet eliminates processed foods which can be bad for your overall health due to a high sugar content and artificial ingredients, and the 22 Day Nutrition Vegan Meal Delivery Service aims to help customers make that transition, with all ingredients being non-GMO, gluten-free, soy-free, dairy-free and organic – dishes will include a sesame cabbage lentil bowl, ratatouille pasta with pesto, curried fried rice with vegetables and an almond blueberry breakfast loaf.

While a vegan meal delivery service is not available in the UK, there are a few monthly vegan boxes you can get that are great for vegan snack ideas, many of which you can find here in our vegan section.

No matter how much we’d like to think otherwise, Beyoncé is not perfect ,and she has made mistakes (like the time she wore a fur coat to a vegan restaurant) but I for one think that this is a great idea and will no doubt encourage so many people to try out a plant based diet, and that is the important thing here.
