Foodbank Friday: More supplier donations

We’ve already shared with you some of the amazing and generous donations our suppliers made to support our Foodbank Friday campaign. We’re delighted to share even more with you now.

Bio-D

Bio-D have kindly donated over 500 items to Newcastle West End Foodbank including soap bars, bathroom cleaner and all purpose cleaners.

Ecozone

Ecozone have donated a mixture of bathroom cleaners, kitchen cloths, bin bags and soap nuts.

The Cheeky Panda

The Cheeky Panda have donated 1,350 rolls of their new quilted soft toilet paper.

The Cheeky Panda began in 2016 when founders Chris and Julie turned wasted bamboo into eco-friendly toilet paper. Bamboo grows fast, is FSC certified, and their tissue is anti-fungal, anti-bacterial, and hypoallergenic.

FLO

FLO have donated an incredible 5 pallets of their long liners.

FLO creates eco-friendly, natural period products from organic cotton and bamboo – biodegradable, hypoallergenic, and free from harsh chemicals. They donate 5% of profits to end FGM through Orchid Project and support UK period poverty via Red Box Project and Bloody Good Period. Comfortable care that truly makes a difference!

Vegums

Vegums have given 40 bags of their A-Z multi vitamin gummy bags.

Vegums, founded in 2018 by two vegan pharmacists, create tasty, fruit-flavoured gummy vitamins packed with essential nutrients like B12, D, omega-3, and iron – perfect for plant-based diets. Certified by The Vegan Society, this UK-based, carbon-negative brand offers a plastic-free, delicious alternative to traditional supplements.

Weleda

Weleda have given a mix of shower bars and roll on deodorant.

Founded in Switzerland in 1921, Weleda expanded to the UK in 1925 with a mission to support health and wellbeing. Using biodynamic and organic ingredients, their vegetarian-friendly products are free from parabens.

Soap Folk

Soap Folk have donated a collection of lavender bath cubes and hardworking hands soap.

Using traditional cold-process methods, Soap Folk craft soaps they trust and love, testing them on family and friends. Inspired by their stunning surroundings, they make sure their products reflect the beauty of where they live. With sustainability at our core, they choose ethical ingredients and eco-friendly packaging to care for our planet.
