Whether it’s chilli con carne, spaghetti Bolognese or a burger there’s an easy and delicious way to turn it into a veggie/vegan treat. This bag of TVP chunks is great for substituting meat and is easy for anyone to prepare. This textured vegetable protein is a great substitute for the protein found in many meats; great for those just starting their vegetarian diet. Cooking TVP is a breeze; all you need to do is add 2 parts water to 1 part TVP and cook for 30 – 45 minutes. For extra flavour, we recommend soaking the TVP in stock before cooking.

While my husband and I are not vegan or vegetarian, we do try to alternate pretty much between meat days and veg days. I like the TVP because it can be soaked in a variety of stocks and so is versatile to used in stews and chillis etc
