For an organic and meat-free alternative to the mince-meat found in spaghetti Bolognese, burritos, chilli con carne and more, this Essential textured vegetable protein (TVP mince is the perfect choice. Whether you’re a long-time vegetarian/vegan or you’re new to the diet, this TVP is easy to make and lets you enjoy mince-meat dishes without guilt. Cook 2 parts liquid and 1 parts TVC for 35 – 40 minutes and you’ve got yourself a succulent meat substitute. Try soaking the TVC in a marinade of choice before cooking to add a burst of flavour to your meal.

Really cheap alternative to beef or quorn, makes a huge amount! My only comment would be the cooking instructions are rather vague on the packaging.
