Good bitter tang compared to the 70% stuff. Helps ensure you can't eat too much of it at once (saving the waistline!). Still really good taste - a staple in our cupboard. Pairs with red wine and/or coffee :)

I use this for baking chocolate & beetroot cake made with ground almonds, a good primal/paleo version of a delicious cake
I'm sure the chocolate is wonderful - I don't eat it, but my husband loves it. I ordered a CASE of 10 bars, plus 10 bars of 70% and both orders came loose, just wrapped in bubble wrap - no case! It was for a gift & I was really disappointed as loose bars just aren't the same.

Oh wow! My 88 year old Mum adores this. Dad loves it. My friends and family all love it.
:-( which sadly means barely a square for me. So I sneakily ordered 2 bars which I shared just with Dad who happened to be here when the parcel arrived. It is a very nice thing to share and also very nice when everybody wants to eat it. Just shows gow good it is. In future we shall be ordering it every time we shop here!

This chocolate is nice for regular eating as well as cooking because it doesn't seem to have that bitterness that some dark chocolates have. Plus it melts for cooking very well.
Affordable, savoury treat that is dark enough and suits especially well for such recipes as "fondant au chocolat" or mud cake. My favourite of all fairly traded chocolates!

Q: Is Divine 85% Dark Chocolate Dutch-processed?
A: Hello,
Divine have responded today with the following: I can confirm that neither the Dutching nor Alkali methods are used in the processing of our chocolate bars. The alkali method is only used to produce Divine cocoa powder which is also an ingredient in the Divine Hot Chocolate range.
