At the start of the Fairtrade Cocoa Programme in 2014, Riegelein was one of the first contractual partners and set itself the goal of completely converting the cocoa requirements for the Riegelein brand to the Fairtrade by the start of the Christmas 2016 season.
The Christmas and Easter selections carry the Fairtrade product seal, which ensures the use of cocoa, cane sugar and vanilla as fair trade ingredients. In addition, the organic seal guarantees the origin of all ingredients from organic farming.
Their products are also regularly awarded gold and silver medals.
