This organically grown Italian wild red rice is a wholegrain rice, perfect for fish or vegetable dishes or cold with a salad. Deeply aromatic with a slightly nutty flavour, the rice is sourced from Bianzé, grown by the Picco family who have been cultivating rice since 1879.
The red rice originates wild seeds and is rich in mineral salts, antioxidants, irons and proteins and is easily digested.
Free from dairy, gluten, wheat, added sugar, nuts, soya, palm oil, GM ingredients, artificial colours, artificial flavours and artificial preservatives. Suitable for vegans and vegetarians. Vacuum packed in plastic and recyclable cardboard.

I use brown rice mainly but it is lovely to use this red rice when I want to add some more colour to my whole food plant based meal.... easy to cook and freezes well once cooked.
