About Mani

The Mani region in the middle of the Greek Peloponnese provides bright, nourishing sunshine and mineral-rich soil, the ideal conditions for olive cultivation. Since the 1970s, the Bläuel family has been working with local olive farmers with an eye for sustainability and an emphasis on respecting the cultural landscape. Together they produced Greece’s first Organic certified olive oil. To this day, the farm uses no chemical pesticides or fertilisers, just the same traditional methods they’ve always favoured.
The Bläuel family business is built on respect for the community of the Mani region. They practice fair trade with small farmers, support social projects, and work to minimise their environmental impact. They use recycled materials for packaging, and since 2010 they have been almost energy-neutral.
