I wanted to go plastic free in the shower and this was the first shampoo bar I bought. It smells great and was easy to use. My only criticism was that as the bar got smaller it became harder to use and by the end I was finding my hair was left feeling a little sticky. Not a disaster but I am trying other shampoos to see if they work better for me (currently on Earth Kind tea tree which is working very well). I do live in a hard water area which is probably having an impact on the effectiveness of this shampoo. My hair is fine but thick and wavy (2c). If you're following the Curly Girl method, this shampoo is approved.

This product is fantastic!rnI have read lots of reviews of other shampoo bars which says they do not lather much or leave hair greasy which has put me off trying until now, but this was great! I can't believe it doesn't have any SLS foaming agent! It lathers easily in your hands and then on your hair and my hair is bouncy and soft after first use. Will definitely buy this again and may try out the other scents too. Top product and great ethics. Win win!

Worth the extra money - i tried the cheaper bars but they left a residue on my hair over time. This bar lathers up well and leaves my hair feeling clean and residue free.
