Extremely disappointed with these almonds. I’ve been making almond milk daily for several years and tend to use same supplier.I recently decided to buy these almonds because I have bought Suma products in the past and consider them to be of a high quality. I avoid buying almonds which have originated in USA because I’m aware that their products are irradiated and therefore not raw and not ideal for making milk, these almonds originate in Spain and I assumed that they would be fine although I appreciate that nowhere does it say they are ideal or suitable for making milk. Within minutes of making milk it completely separated - I’ve only seen milk separating if it’s left in the fridge for a day or so and even then not to the same degree. The milk is not in any way creamy and doesn’t have the usual strong almond taste therefore I suspect these almonds have undergone some sort of treatment? Since I purchased 3 kg I have no choice except to use the almonds but I’ve now made several batches of milk with first kg and all of them have separated. The almonds are probably okay to eat or to use in baking but the reason I’m submitting this review is in case anyone else considers buying them to make milk. Maybe this problem is only affecting a particular batch but I will revert to my usual supplier.

In my family we eat lots of nuts and every time we buy things from Ethical store we order one of these bags. The almonds are really tasty!
