We recently needed to replace three of these at once which we keep around the house for various tasks, including bathroom cleaning, kitchen scrubbing, and unhygienic jobs where the brush couldn't be used for other tasks except that - our old brushes were plastic but very battered, torn, and lost bristles. As we're looking to go green in as many areas as possible, we got these. The vegetable bristles scrub just as well as our previous brushes, the brushes themselves don't get bashed and broken as easily, and we have peace of mind about where they will eventually end up as waste in a few years. Can't ask for more, really.
