Love the fact these are compostable but they are not suitable for use as bin bags. They tear far too easily so you end up doubling up which kind of defeats the purpose of trying to be environmentally friendly as these still need to be made in a factory.

Not as strong as black plastic but I would rather use compostable bags.rnI would only ask the manufacturer to make maybe a 40/50 litre bag to fit wider bigger bins. You still could not fill them too full but would fit my bin better, IKEA under sink bins are rectangular so need a wide mouth bag.rnThey still do the job so will keep using them, also we produce so little that cannot be recycled or composted fit is the only issue.

I have not seen compostable bin liners available apart from the small ones for the food compost bin so I was pleased to find these larger ones to fit my kitchen bin.

These bags are pricey but it is worth the price for a bag that's compostable. I hope that the price can come down at some point to make them more accessible to everyone. I am happy with these but they are quite thin and so care has to be taken not to tear them when taking them out of the bin. I will be buying them again all the same.
