Our recycled glassware is made by CRISIL, a family run business in Cochabamba, Bolivia, which provides employment for many, and helps the glass recycling effort in the region.

I love the idea of this carafe where the glass acts as a lid.
However the size indicated on the description does not take into account the lid. So realistically you can fit about 500ml, otherwise the glass would force the water out! The base of the glass could be a bit wider so that it ensures a proper covering.
Overall I like the product, but would prefer a bigger capacity which I was expecting.

This is my third one of these carafes - the first I bought for me, then all my colleagues liked it so much I've ended up buying two as presents! Brilliant: lovely quality, really useful, and just fantastic that they're recycled and fair trade produced.

Q: How big is this? What volume does it hold?
