LoofCo Washing-Up Slim Pads are an eco-friendly alternative to plastic sponges, hand-made in Egypt from the loofah aegyptiaca plant. Each pad is crafted from a single, unstitched layer of natural loofah, providing flexibility and durability. Designed to replace traditional sponges, these pads soften when wet and are perfect for washing non-stick pans, fitting into narrow glasses, and manoeuvring around cutlery with ease. With a quick-drying, open structure and a convenient cotton loop for hanging, the Slim Pad is easy to maintain, simply rinse, squeeze out water, shake out any food particles, and hang dry. For occasional deep cleaning, the pad can be machine-washed or hand-washed. Built to last for months, these pads are compostable at the end of their lifespan, making them a sustainable choice for every kitchen.

good abrasion without scratching
I tried this because sometimes the LoofCo Washing-Up Pads are too big.
This was way TOO slim, and too thin. I ended up doing the dishes using two of these at the same time and still not satisfactory. It doesn't last half as long as the normal sized ones do. Not for me. I'll never order this again.
Loofah plants are great. They are like massive cucumbers. I used to grow them when I was a kid for summer vacation science experiment and used to make skin lotion and wash-up pads from the plant.
Cut across the dried skeleton fruit and you get the normal sized Washing-Up Pads.
Cut those normal sized pieces lengthywise and you get Washing-Up Slim Pads.
I know that they are dirt cheap to make and these slim ones are not worths the price.
I'll go back to using the normal sized ones.
