Product Description
Organic preserved lemons from Carley's. A traditional Mediterranean and north African ingredient, the tender lemon peel is excellent with fish, chicken, vegetables, couscous, and in tagines. The intense lemony brine is delicious brushes over vegetables or chicken before cooking.
Free from gluten, palm oil, GM ingredients, artificial preservatives, artificial flavours, and artificial colours. Suitable for vegans and vegetarians.
Made in the UK with European lemons.
Packaged in a recyclable glass jar.

These are very delicious and very strong in flavour. They are very soft to chop up. Some preserved lemon as a topping on a Middle Eastern dish really elevates the flavour but you can use sparingly on a bland sandwich or salad to pep it up. I am about to order my next jar. Good that they are made in the UK too. I tried making my own but it was a bit of a fail so I am leaving it to the experts. Recommended if you like highly flavoured food.
