Quinoa is a great source of healthy carb and protein. I usually do a combination in one pan of quinoa, brown rice and green lentils to make a great side to other dishes.

This is lovely cooked with equal parts of buckwheat, to make porridge in a slow cooker, with sultanas, orange juice and almond milk. I've also used it instead of couscous, to make a tasty salad . Once cooked, it seems to grow tails! It has a very nice, nutty flavour.
