These are perfect to cut down on gift waste, they seem like they will hold up for a long time.

Very climate friendly.

These are really rather lovely, with one major caveat. You appreciate that the patterns will be random but one of my bags had a noticeable (particularly because it was a plain coloured bag) stain on it so was not useable for gift giving. The fabric is also quite thin so many not always conceal the contents as much as you might need and might struggle with very heavy or sharp cornered contents. However, I shall buy another set...
