This works perfectly. But there is a galvanised metal core. I live in London, UK and I have no idea how to recycle this. I'm also sceptical that the product can be low impact and a more eco-friendly option. I'd really love to be wrong about this...

Brilliant! Never buy one of those nasty plastic pot scrubbers again! This gets burned on stuff off and stubborn marks. I have one in the bathroom too…great for tidelines and tiles. I clean them on the top shelf of the dishwasher every now and then and they last for ages.

Whoever designed this is a genius. It's rough enough to scrape hard food but soft enough not to scratch plates. It's just the right size for getting into your cups and glasses right to the bottom too. Lasts forever - this one's a keeper.

Amazing product, cleans stubborn stains and lasts well.

If I could give this more stars I would. They have replaced plastic scourers and sponges in my home and I have even bought them as presents for friends. It cleans everything without scratching delicate surfaces like coated frying pans and woks.

Found to be very useful in cleaning the inside of mugs that we have. Helpful in getting rid of some ground in staining. Would recommend or even useful as a present!

My very favourite product, works really well, easy to use, perfect to use along with dish soap. I worried about it not being able to replace a plastic sponge that I am used to but actually it did, and it's handy even for cleaning of my sinks, along with a cream cleaner. Only after eight months of usage I noticed it started to decompose on the inside, which unfortunatelly comes with stench, but I cleaned it thoroughly and keep on using it as it still works. Will replace it soon, though.

I am very pleased with the washing up brush and have given them to my friends.

This is actually the best scourer or washing up brush we have ever used, irrespective of material. It's far more effective, yet gentler on surfaces, than anything plastic. I can't believe these aren't ubiquitous, but we have been doing our best by telling everyone we can about them. It lasts longer than a scourer by a long margin, and is totally biodegradeable.
