Loofco Lemongrass Washing Up Soap Bar - 100g

I use this just for extra greasy pots and pans as it cuts through the grease brilliantly. The scent is subtle, so not overpowering.

Bought to try on my washing up, but now use for most of my cleaning. Brilliant on windows and for bathrooms. Excellent as a rub on stain remover on clothes. Really does cut through grease well. I live in a soft water area and don't have the residue problem. Love the fragrance, keeps my kitchen smelling fresh.

I purchased this as I wanted a plastic free alternative. rnUnfortunately like others have mentioned the leaves a residue on the washing up making them all slippery, even after they have been rinsed off with hot water. We have also noticed that there is a large amount of soap scum left behind in the sink. Although it is plastic tree we are finding that we are using twice as much water to get wash off the residue left behind

I use these soaps on a daily basis now. For washing dishes I use it together with the LoofCo Washing-Up Brush with Rubberwood handle. I also find it very good for removing stains from clothes.

Although it is super to have a plastic free alternative, and it smells divine, it just doesn't work. Firstly, it leaves soap spots all over everything once it they have dried and secondly, it is really slippy, so the hand you aren't holding the sponge in ends up too slippy to hold the dish in, if you see what I mean. A great idea but it needs refining.

Response from LoofCo: Thank you for your feedback. Considerable care has gone into developing LoofCo Washing-Up Soap Bars that are made by a long-established traditional soap producer. After washing up an item you should rinse off any lather with water. This is normal usage for washing-up products of all sorts and will leave items sparkling.
