Tried them out as the black charcoal paste would make my sink dirty too quickly - immediately converted and much more handier to travel with!

Love these, the tin is great for our holiday toilet bag.

They did leave my teeth feeling clean, a very affordable product and I appreciate the fluoride or fluoride free option. However I could not abide the texture and taste. I hate waste and throwing things out but could not make it through a whole case of these. Made me feel nauseous whenever I brushed my teeth. Obviously this will be different for everyone so I wouldn't say definitely don't buy it, but be cautious if you're particular about that kind of thing

Very happy with these. Fluoride is important and you don't get many tabs with it in. We've tried a number of other brands but these are the ones for us. If you're switching to tabs for the first time, they won't foam like toothpaste but they do clean well, and the taste is lovely but subtle - we use a mouthwash after. Would recommend to anyone wanting to make the switch.

Lovely taste (very important) and good for your teeth. Foam unlike some others we've tried, and teeth feel clean afterwards. Yes, the tin isn't airtight - we put them in a glass jar. If you're new to toothpaste tabs, don't put wet fingers in the jar or they'll all get soggy! Buying the refills now

Don’t bother buying these in the tin, it isn’t air tight so the tablets are soft and broken (even before I had tried one!)

These toothpaste alternative tablets taste great. Not as foamy as I expected from the description but my mouth does feel clean after use. Unfortunately when using the tin for travel the tablets inside are breaking and there are small pieces of tablets and tablet dust in the tin. Need a better means if transporting for going away. Tin also not watertight. 3 starts reflects the issues with packaging more than the product inside.

These are good, but the tin is not airtight enough and they wentbdamp and soft, and started tasting funny. I will continue to buy the refills and put in my own jar.

I bought these as I'm trying to go plastic and cruelty free with all my toiletries. For me personally, they don't work as well as ordinary toothpaste. My mouth doesn't feel as fresh and the tablets seem weak and watery, plus big chunks of crushed tablet get stuck in my teeth. I have to use two at a time so they will run out more quickly. I give 3 stars for being an ethically sound alternative, and I'd still recommend giving them a go, but personally I'll be trying another brand next time.

I’ve been looking for more eco-friendly and natural toothpastes for a while and have not been disappointed with these paste tabs! They’re a lovely subtle taste and the texture of the ‘foam’ is really pleasant. I find standard toothpaste burns my mouth and can feel overwhelming - I have scarring on the inside of my mouth where, as a child, I bit a large chunk away in an accident and with standard toothpastes this scarring peels regularly leaving it quite sore. I’ve been using these since the beginning of 2020 and so far have had no peeling at all. I dread to think what the other toothpastes were doing to me! These clean very well, and my teeth seem so much brighter too. My partner struggles to get away with using just one tab per brush so uses two tabs and says he feels the benefit of the second one more. I think he’s just set in his ways and wants the experience to be more like standard toothpaste! I would recommend storing these in an airtight container as when they’re stored in the tin they absorb moisture and go hard. The tin has a sliding lid and isn’t a tight fit. They’re not unusable but break down better and foam when they’re not hard. I now buy the refill packs and pop a few in the tin at a time to make sure they don’t become too exposed.

These are great. The tin is just for travelling and for when using them at home, we keep them in an airtight glass jar. They aren't as foamy as store-bought toothpaste, but you honestly get used to the difference incredibly quickly and realise that the excessive foamy-ness is not necessary for cleaning teeth. The refill version of these without the tin (different listing) are more minty and foamy than these, for some reason. Presumably they've changed the recipe and because less people want the tin version, they're still trying to get through the old recipe with these? Either way, try the refill version without the tin (different listing) first and only buy this version when you want a travel storage option.

I wouldn't recommend these for toothpaste, I really wanted them to work well but I don't think it does a good enough job to replace my regular toothpaste. They become a crumbly watery mess in your mouth, though they do leave your breath nice and minty afterwards, so I've been using them as "extra" toothbrushing (more like a mint I guess) if I'm popping out somewhere after eating

These tasted ok. However they got damp and turned into a bit of a mush in the tin. I don't think I would buy again.

I'm very happy with these tablets, easy and light to carry around, with a good amount of flouride. They dissolve very rapidly so you don't have the chew much and make a light foam (more than some saline toothpastes I've tried in the past). I'm making them my dental product of choice.

Really impressed by these and it's nice to see a plastic-free toothpaste option with fluoride, at last. You crunch up the tablet then clean your teeth. Whilst it isn't as foamy as toothpaste, your teeth feel really clean and your mouth feels fresh. I definitely recommend these to those trying to cut down on single use plastics as they really are a fantastic alternative to plastic tube toothpaste without feeling like you are sacrificing on dental health.
