Delicious tea and really good with oat milk but why the plastic packaging around the box?! Other teas I’ve ordered from the same company come without plastic so could you please resist putting it round this box!

I love red bush tea, and missed the taste of earl grey. I don't have caffeine in my diet, so this is the perfect combination.

This is top quality Earl Grey tea if you cannot have the normal stuff, with bergamot just right. It is utterly delicious and the very best of all the rooibos teas I have tried. Be carefu trying it, you get hooked.

I bought this for an extra birthday gift for a friend who loves Earl Grey tea and rooibos, but had never had them combined. She said it was extremely delicious!

Lovely flavour. I am allergic to normal tea so this is an axel lent substitute.

Lilian asked this question on 26th Jul 2019

Q: Are the teabags free of plastics?

A: Hi there,

Please see the reply from the manufacturer below:

'The teabag paper is made up of cellulose (wood pulp) and a small amount food safe thermoplastic fibres (polypropylene). The thermoplastic is 'woven' into the cellulose paper and it is used to create the seal when the teabag is formed. We have been conducting trials with a version of teabag paper that replaces the polypropylene with polylactic acid (PLA). PLA is a biopolymer made from non-crude oil sources such as plant starch. This is biodegradable and allows the paper to fully breakdown within specific conditions. The starch is taken from the plant, broken down and then turned into a polymer ‘chip’.

Initial trials with this PLA paper have gone well but we are carrying out further prolonged trials to ensure that the change of paper will have no detrimental effect on our products. We currently don’t have any fixed timelines, however, we are hoping to be able to run with this in the next 3-6 months.'

I hope this helps,
