Krameria tincture and Myrrh, two herbal extracts traditionally used in dental care products, are key active ingredients in this formulation. Together they help strengthen the gums and offer protection against inflammation. Also contains soothing ratanhia to naturally strengthen the gums.The finely precipitated chalk base ensures thorough cleansing without damaging the enamel of the teeth. Peppermint and Spearmint are two of the essential oils which provide long lasting freshness.
Selected herbal extracts actively promote oral health; mineral ingredients clean teeth effectively but gently, helping prevent the build-up of plaque and keeping gums healthy and strong. Pure essential oils provide pleasant tastes and long-lasting freshness.
All Weleda toothpastes are suitable for vegans and are free from added fluoride, detergents, bleaches, foam boosters, optical brighteners plus synthetic colours, fragrances, flavourings, sweeteners, deodorants, emulsifiers, disinfectants and preservatives.

Weleda started life in the UK in 1925 having been established 4 years earlier in Switzerland by a partnership between a Dutch doctor, Ita Wegman, and the renowned philosopher Rudolf Steiner.
