These organic and fairly traded dates have been grown in Tunisia, and are great to eat on their own, as an ingredient in cakes, or as a puree. To keep them fresh, store them in an airtight container and out of direct sunlight. Packed full of nutrients and vitamins.
Although pitted, check these dates thoroughly for stones or pieces of stone before use. This product may contain traces of nut.

These are shown on the website as Fairtrade but there is no indication of that so far as I can see on the packet - it did surprise me as Suma are usually organic but not Fairtrade.

Thanks for your review. These dates are fairly traded, as shown on the front of the packaging and on the ingredients. They are not fairtrade international certified but they are fairly traded.
