Made from creamed, unhulled sesame seeds and nothing else, this vegan. gluten-free paste tastes great in houmous or as a healthy alternative to butter.

This makes perfect hummus, lovely taste, and creamy.
The only tahini I have bought for several years. Great for humour, dressings & even in smoothies for added plant protein. Sometimes needs a stir when first opened but prefer that to palm oil or other additives.

Please see the response below from the manufacturer Meridian..
"We source our dark sesame seeds from countries across South America (Bolivia, Paraguay, Argentina, Brazil) but also occasionally from Pakistan dependant on the harvesting season."
