Cooking Instructions: Use 3 or 4 heaped teaspoons of the mix to 300ml of cold water. Add a little of the cold water to the mix and stir to give a smooth paste. Slowly add the remainder of the water to the paste. Transfer to a saucepan and bring to the boil over a medium heat, stirring continuously until thick. For a creamier tasting sauce try replacing the cold water with rice milk or unsweetened soya milk.

Sadly found this mix very disappointing, lacking any flavour & no easier than making your own white sauce the usual way. Had to add a lot of nutritional yeast flakes, black pepper & some marmite!

Makes an excellent cauliflower cheese - If you like a lot of sauce over your broccoli or cauliflower I found that you need to use double the quantity the instructions say - but it is still very good value.
