Originally founded in 2013 by Lasse Jalkanen, who at the time already owned a wellness online store. Wanted to find more nutritional produce that wasn’t available in Finland. He developed his knowledge by travelling the world whenever and wherever he could in search of new ideas and partnerships, and in turn discovered the effect and importance of the food industry on the environment and the consumers.

In 2015 second owner Maria Jalkanen joined to help with the core mission of Foodin, to focus on the food production chain from farmer and consumer and conducting ethical purposeful business. Fast forward over a decade later with a range of nutritional products available. Foodin still have the same principles at heart to put the wellbeing of the consumer, farmer and the environment first.
