Give local bees refuge with this sturdy bee house - made with strong, responsibly sourced pinewood. Bee population has been diminishing in recent years, so every little helps to ensure that these industrious little creatures can thrive. The inside of the bee house has lots of faux honeycombs made from bamboo - perfect for bees to snuggle up inside. There's some attractive decoration too, with a metal engraving underneath the bamboo, plus a bee silhouette tagged with 'Apoidea'; the superfamily that many bees and wasps belong to.

Beautifully made, however the actual bee tubes look different from the picture:they are not all a uniform size, but a lot of tiny tubes with only 6 that look big enough for a bee to get in. Perhaps other bugs can live in the tiny tubes, but it was bought for bees.
