Yeast extract is great for anyone trying to add flavour to sauces and stews or just as a sandwich spread, and this Essential Vitam-R yeast extract is no exception. The manufacturing process ensures that anything you make with this yeast extract has a minimal salt content. Many other manufacturers create yeast extract with the use of hydrochloric acid and sodium hydroxide, which results in a high, unhealthy concentration of sodium chloride (salt). Essential Vitam-R yeast extract makes use of the sugar beet molasses and the natural enzymes found within the yeast itself which gives it a lower salt content and keeps it completely gluten-free.

The best yeast extract EVER, beats all of the other brands hands down. Much, much nicer than Biona. Super easy to spread, with lovely rounded flavour, not harsh at all, gorgeous on toast with avocado. Can't get enough of this stuff!
