Product Description
After use, the biodegradable bamboo handle can be composted or sent to landfill where it will degrade at a much faster rate than any plastic toothbrush. Remove the bristles first and they can be added to the recycling bin.
Environmental Toothbrush use Moso bamboo - this species of bamboo is known as 'panda-friendly' because pandas do not eat it or inhabit the area where it grows.

Great product.
I bought the soft brush because of reviews saying others were too firm. This is a very soft brush and I have sadly gone back to my plastic one. Might try a medium or firm in future

Thanks for the query. Environmental Toothbrush uses a BPA-free plastic polymer for the bristles that's 100% recyclable, although not biodegradable.
