Product Description
The innovative Ecoball from Ecozone provides an eco-friendly laundry solution, using two types of pellets made from minerals and plant-based cleaning agents to lift the dirt away from the material and keep the water soft for an effective clean.
The natural cleaning power means there are no nasty chemical residues left on your laundry, plus the Ecoball is hypoallergenic, Allergy UK approved and gentle on fabrics without compromising on effectiveness. Perfect for use by those who have sensitive skin and those who are trying to live an eco-friendly lifestyle.
Not only is it great for the planet, the Ecoball can save you money too, since it lasts for up to 1000 washes, it’s less than 3p per wash (based on a 30 minutes cycle) and there’s no need to put the laundry on a rinse cycle so it will be finished faster too.
The updated Ecoball includes 1 larger ball, instead of the previous 3 ecoballs, and is free from animal ingredients, animal testing and palm oil.

Just started using this product so may give 5 stars after review. Good performance so far and clothes have no residue of detergents. Machine seems to be cleaner too.

I stuck with this product for around a year, seemed like no brainier investment for years of laundry. I can’t say I notice any difference washing with it or completely detergent free. Nice idea though- try eco-egg instead! A lot better

These work really well. I live in a hard water area and had no issues. I washed pet clothes with these, so would frequently wash out the washing machine to stop smelling and gunk building up. rnDo not expect your clothes to come out smelling like you've washed them with detergent. They will come out with no scent, but clean.

Q: Hi,
I bought some of these a few months ago and am very pleased with them however I do have one question. How ashall I know when to put the replacement pellets inside the balls? Thanks.
A: The pellets will, over time, dissolve and disappear; therefore, when you can no longer see or hear them, it's time to replace them!
(The manufacturer states that this should be after approx 1000 washes)

Q: Can you use fabric softner with these balls. I know it says that you don't need it, but if you have guests it is nice to make the lining smell nice.
A: According to the manufacturers..."You should find that the garments are naturally soft without the use of fabric softener. If you do miss the synthetic smell we suggest that you only use an Eco softener such as Ecover, but do not add it to the wash. When the wash is complete remove the Ecoballs™ add the softener and switch the machine on to a short rinse" John.

Q: I recently read in Ethical Consumer that some "eco-washing balls" are made from PVC. Are these PVC free? Thanks
A: I am pleased to tell you that Ecozone Ecoballs do not contain any amount of PVC whatsoever. Marty
