I love this on toast for breakfast when I'm not very hungry as it whets my appetite. I have been buying it since the 1970s and it has barely changed - great stuff.

A good, tasty pate, which keeps well in the fridge. It helps to use a metal squeezer (available online) to roll the tube, otherwise it can be difficult to get out all the pate!

Another fantastic version of the famous Tartex Pate. Just spread it on one half of a focaccia and avocado on the other then crammed with beans and salad. Lifted it to a new level

This pate has a good, strong flavour and goes nicely on toast or biscuits. (Take it out of the fridge in good time if it's intended for un-toasted bread though or it's a bit hard to spread.) My husband likes it so much that I have to buy at least two tubes at a time and hide one so it doesn't all go before I can have some myself!

I've eaten this for 30-odd years but no-one else in my family does.
It isn't love/hate like a certain brand of yeast extract, but maybe it's a bit of an acquired taste.

So glad I found a reliable source for this pate. Can't get it locally and don't have a car so will be stocking up on these. Gorgeous on warm toast, crispbreads, or just on bread with optional toppings such as cucumber or tomato. Yum!
