Georganics Natural Toothpaste - Spearmint - 60ml

I really like this toothpaste and get on well with the flavour, teeth feel clean and fresh afterwards. My husband got sore gums from this one though, yet he likes the charcoal version and doesn't suffer with that problem with that one, I can't stand the taste of the charcoal one, so it's a case of his and hers for us!

This toothpaste takes a bit of getting used to if you normally use a big brand, but once you've been using it for a while it becomes the new normal. At first it tastes very salty and if you swap back to a big branded paste that will taste excessively sweet. You can ride this out - and it's worth doing so if you want to ditch plastic. This toothpaste cleans as well as conventional stuff, but doesn't foam up in the same way. The spearmint one is subtly minty, but again you get used to it. I only wish it came in larger jars or perhaps with a little discount for buying two at a time...

Ok, Georganics doesn't foam and the consistency does take some getting used to - it is quite a thick paste - but it actually cleans teeth really well. There is no strange residue left on teeth and the subtle mint leaves breath fresh. We have been using it for a year now, with our bamboo toothbrushes. Love that there is no plastic and it is made from natural ingredients. It is expensive but you only need a little bit, so it does last for ages. Worth a go!

I really tried hard to like this as I love the fact there is no plastic. However I found it very abrasive with the lack of foaming and ultimately (after several months intermittent use) developed very sore gums / sensitive teeth using it and had to stop - gums recovered after a week of no use and have been fine since. Maybe I'm sensitive to one of the ingredients, but it certainly didn't suit me.

I wanted to try this product as it is completely plastic free. But I couldn't get on with the no foaming and the taste.
