Shipton Mill, based in Shipton Moyne Wood, has been making flour for hundreds of years, keeping to the traditional methods of when it was found. It uses traditional grain to produce a wide range of organic flours suitable for baking anything from bread and cakes to pastries, making sure there is something for everyone in their organic product range.
Shipton is committed to being kind to the environment, and so its ingredients are sourced from local farms to cut down on carbon emissions from transport, but also to support the local community. It also uses transport methods least damaging to the environment where possible when importing and uses excess energy from the milling process to power its offices.
