Mornflake

Mornflake is an independent family business, which has been growing oats to make organic cereal since 1675 and is still in the hands of the descendents of the founder, based in the same area as it has been for 330 years, South Cheshire. The company has always been committed to being sustainable, from the first mill being powered by water to the factory today being powered by sustainable energy from their wind turbine in Scotland which produces enough energy to power 4,300 homes.Mornfalke are also passionate about recycling, with only 0.01% of their waste going to landfills, a number they are committed to reducing to 0.

Since the oats they buy are from farms which do not use and pesticides or harmful chemicals, Mornflake produces organic oat cereals, and was one of the very first millers to do so.
