Over 40% of fruits and vegetables that are grown in the UK goes to waste. Dash Water are on a mission to raise awareness of this issue and bring an end to buying behaviours in which weird and ‘wonky’ fruit is usually left on the shop shelves and discarded. They infuse their delicious natural water with ‘wonky’ fruit which still has the same goodness but is just misshapen, curved, crushed, bent and knobbly. By accepting this fruit, they are not only helping the fight against food waste but give the farmers who produce these fruits a peace of mind that their surplus product will still end up on the shop shelves.
