Save on plastic with this super handy reusable tampon applicator from DAME. Made from high quality medical grade Mediprene and medical grade polypropylene this tampon applicator is so easy to use and clean and has inbuilt Sanipolymers which have natural antimicrobial characteristics to keep it hygienic. By using this applicator, you could save another 12,000 disposable applicators from entering our oceans and cause as little harm to our planet as possible. Suitable for use with all size DAME tampons and most standard-size non applicator tampons, this reusable applicator has been ergonomically designed and has a semi-gloss matt finish to be as comfortable as possible.

This reusable tampon applicator also comes with 3 DAME 100% organic cotton tampons (2x regular, 1x super), free from plastic, bleaches, synthetics, toxins, dyes and grown without the use of pesticides on a GOTS certified farm.

After use simply wash thoroughly under running water and dry with a clean paper towel.

The reusable applicator is made up of 3 parts: The lid + The applicator + The plunger.

To use first wash your hands, remove the applicator lid, unwrap your tampon and unravel the string. This applicator works with any standard tampon.

There are three different ways of inserting your tampon into the applicator - depending on the size of your tampons, you might want to try a few different ways.

The String Lock - Load the tampon from the back, threading the tampon string through the small side hole. Make sure the knot on the tampon is pulled tight first.
The Top Loader - Peel back the applicator petal with your index finger and load the tampon from the top. Works especially well for larger tampons
The Stuffer - Push the tampon into the back of the applicator, followed by all the string.

Once your tampon is loaded, insert the applicator into your vagina at a 45 degree angle. Then use the plunger to push the tampon into your vagina. Stop pushing just before the plunger clicks into the applicator - your tampon is now in place. Simply rinse and wipe your reusable tampon applicator after each use and replace the lid. You're good to go. When it's time to remove your DAME tampon, pull it out gently and slowly.

A certified B corporation, DAME has created the first ever reusable tampon applicator helped by a successful Kickstarter campaign and has since created a range of 100% organic cotton tampons and reusable pads all to help achieve their goal of stopping people from using disposable, non-recyclable period products.
