Abeego is a sustainable food wrap made from certified organic cotton and hemp, great for keeping food fresher for longer. The wrap is coated with tree resin for its natural antiseptic properties, jojoba oil which is anti fungal and beeswax which is naturally antibacterial. As Abeego is made from a cloth material rather than plastic, it will allow the food to breathe and naturally age, preventing mould and keeping leftovers fresh – either wrap it around the food or cover a bowl.
Wash your Abeego in cold water – if you use warm water some of the beeswax will rub off. When cared for properly, your Abeego can last over a year, and don’t be alarmed if you find any stains, as it is a cloth material staining is likely but will not affect performance. Please note that tree resin and beeswax are soluble in alcohol so use alcohol free dish soap to wash your Abeego, then dry with a towel or hang over a dish rack.
Abeego is not suitable for the dishwasher, microwave oven, direct heat or high temperatures.
This pack contains three Abeegos – small (18 x 18cm), medium (25 x 25cm) and large (33 x 33cm). We also stock the Large pack if you need more Abeego coverage.

i've tried a few different brands of food wrap and have not decided that this brand, abeego, is the best for long life use. i know it comes from germany and many of the others don't have those travel miles attached, but they really have lasted much much (4 months) longer than the rest. the sizes are great and seem to find a use for each of them almost every day. i will buy these again next year when these ones eventually loose their wax, if i haven't worked out by them how to rewax them properly.

Great alternative to plastic wrap, have been using non-stop since I got it! Several good sizes and has a pleasant beeswax smell that doesn't transfer to food. Very pleased with this product.
