Good level of "whiteness", soft but not "strong". Found we used a little more but never mind. I'll try your other brands and see what suits us.

2-ply bog-standard

This is a two-ply paper (i.e. two layers thick) therefore its not luxurious, and you do use more than with a luxury paper. I think all the recycled brands are like this (though from memory i think naturellle might be a bit thicker). It is also less soft than premium brands, but it does the job fine.

This is as good as any other recycled toilet paper you can buy - none of them are going to be 'triple velvet'!!! I also like the fact that the wrapper is compostable.

I agree that this product is somewhat flimsy but I prefer to use a reduced-chemical/greener product that doesn't have nauseating adverts which I'm paying the overheads for.....
