I have got on ok with this brush, while using it for a few months. Yesterday quite a few bristles came out in my mouth, so it was time to throw it. I bought this in order to reduce plastic waste. The item page says "can go in the compost after bristles are removed" - how on earth does one remove them? I tried to pull them out with pliers - no joy. So it's going in the landfill in the end.... disappointing :-(
I buy these toothbrushes for my nephews every year, however they say that the bamboo hurts the inside of their mouths, this is a real shame.

i find it a bit big for 2 year old mouth, and bristles to hard compare from our previous bamboo toothbrush

Fine. My older daughter got on well with this and it has good bristles even though she probably chews it. This should say it is for age 5 plus as the head is way too big for my 4 year old who used the jack and Jill brand.

Just love these toothbrushes, so much so I use one myself although I do find the adult ones too big. These are great for sensitive gums.rn

A: Good Morning,
Many thanks for your query. The bristles are made from a BPA free polymer resistant to microbial growth. They are not biodegradable.
