I have got on ok with this brush, while using it for a few months. Yesterday quite a few bristles came out in my mouth, so it was time to throw it. I bought this in order to reduce plastic waste. The item page says "can go in the compost after bristles are removed" - how on earth does one remove them? I tried to pull them out with pliers - no joy. So it's going in the landfill in the end.... disappointing :-(

I buy these toothbrushes for my nephews every year, however they say that the bamboo hurts the inside of their mouths, this is a real shame.

I was worried that my 6 year old daughter wouldn't like this because it is not colourful, but she loves it.

Doesn't last as long as a plastic one as the bristles frayed quickly which was disappointed

Great idea, but it lasted about 2 weeks before it looked frayed; our daughter kept using it for a bit longer. Won't be buying this again.

I like the fact that they are made for children as the adult versions are too large for children. Also I love the fact that they are bio-degrable.

I love these brushes, child and adult - it makes a great difference to the waste we send to landfill to replace plastic with biodegradable products.

Fine. My older daughter got on well with this and it has good bristles even though she probably chews it. This should say it is for age 5 plus as the head is way too big for my 4 year old who used the jack and Jill brand.

Just love these toothbrushes, so much so I use one myself although I do find the adult ones too big. These are great for sensitive gums.rn

Q: HirnAre the bristles made out of nylon or are they biodegradable?rnThank you!rnHannah

A: Good Morning,

Many thanks for your query. The bristles are made from a BPA free polymer resistant to microbial growth. They are not biodegradable.

I hope this helps.
