People Tree Silver Twisted Bangle
A bangle is a subtle way to add a touch of glamour and class to your outfit to keep you looking your best at both formal and casual get-togethers. This one has been carefully made by hand using silver plated brass by skilled artisans working through a fair-trade producer based in Kenya; helping those living with physical disabilities to turn their incredible craftsmanship into a sustainable occupation.
Founded in 1969, Bombolulu was created as a rehabilitation project sponsored by the Association for the Physically Disabled in Kenya. They provide support for those living with physical handicaps by giving them a sustainable income for their skills and a way to fully integrate with the rest of their community.
They create dazzling jewellery from silver plate, copper and brass and put excellent attention to detail into everything they make. They even make the individual links in necklaces by hand. Bombolulu is a fair trade business that provides work for over 100 people
