‘Malagasy’ means ‘of’ or ‘from’ Madagascar, which encapsulates the spirit of the chocolate that this company produces. The people of Malagasy Ltd are a highly dedicated and passionate team who have been working on this project in Madagascar for over two years, developing a delcious range of flavours which combine the country’s melting pot of influences, from French, Indian, African and Arabian cuisines.

Malagasy grows its produce naturally, earning them the EcoCert organic certification, which shows that the company operates with the environment in mind. They also look after their people, operating as the world’s first Equitrade company, achieving a fairer price for their workers’ crops on the international market. And over the next 10 years they are working to equip their producers with the latest technologies, to help raise the incomes of the rural families of Madagascar.
