Following up on my earlier review, I've now grown one half tray of rocket sprouts, which were very tasty. rnrnHowever, I have discovered a fundamental design flaw. If, as recommended, you space out your harvest by sowing only half a tray at a time, you find you have one side where the water level needs to be touching the bottom of the tray and the other side where it should be lower, so as not to over-soak the shoots that have sprouted. This is just not possible. So, I will have to grow a whole tray at once - not too much of a problem as you don't get an enormous amount. rnrnIt also means not mixing types of seeds in one sowing (the kit comes with basil, rocket and coriander seeds) as they take significantly different lengths of time to sprout. The coriander seeds have taken almost two weeks to even start, whereas I've harvested one lot of rocket and resown it in that time.

Reserving judgement at the moment, as the growing instructions on the box are not clear - the picture instructions show the tray only half filled with water, whereas the written instructions say to fill the tray. It has taken over a month for Johnsons to respond to my repeated requests for some clarity. Just got this message from them today:
"When starting off a new batch of seed, fill the lower tray completely with water to ensure that moisture reaches the absorbent paper in the upper tray. Once seeds have germinated and developed small roots, it is not so important to have the lower tray quite so full."
Will get started now and post an update once I've seen how I get on. Would perhaps be worth adding this advice to your website, since I would imagine it will take a while before Johnsons change what's on the packaging.

Waste of my precious time!
First one was cracked. Replacement came promptly. Utterly useless!
