This is my first bamboo toothbrush. Does the job and is much better than the wooden one I tried previously. Bamboo stands up to being regularly dunked in water better than the wooden one.
1 Questions
Bil al asked this question on 31st Oct 2018
Q: Will there be a 'firm' version of this brand? rnAlso with the popular brands, one can tell when it is time to replace when the coloured bristles are slightly off. How can one tell it is time to replace?
A: Hi,
Thanks for the query. We do not currently have any plans to buy in any firm bristle variants of the Hydrophil bamboo toothbrushes. The manufacturer recommends that toothbrushes should be replaced after 3 months of regular use.
Hope this helps,
Kind Regards

About Hydrophil

The founders of HYDROPHIL are Christoph, Sebastian and Wanja, three friends from Hamburg. The idea for HYDROPHIL was born during a bicycle tour through Hamburg.
In the middle of 2012 they started a little blog on hydrophil.com, which is still dedicated to the various facets of water today. Water is the most important resource for plants, animals and humans, without it there would be no life! In their blog they deal with the most diverse aspects around it: sustainable use of water, conflicts over the resource water, tap water etc....
Since they have been dealing with the fascinating topic of water all the time anyway and wrote about it in their blog, they wanted to start a field trial and try to develop a product that consumes and pollutes as little water as possible in its production. After they had launched their first T-shirt in a trial run in September 2013 the feedback was so incredibly positive that they decided to redesign the shirt.
Their range of water neutral, vegan & fair products has grown steadily since then, now they are the market leader in sustainable dental hygiene with bamboo toothbrushes and are looking forward to working together to make tomorrow's world even more beautiful and greener.
They donate 10% of their profits to the non-profit association Viva con Agua de Sankt Pauli e.V., which is committed to providing access to clean drinking water for people in countries of the global South.
