Product Description

This soft, comfortable and durable regular fit long sleeved school shirt is made with 100% pure cotton and is ideal for children with sensitive skin or skin conditions. Free from toxic coatings, this shirt is as kind to their skin as it is for the planet. Organic cotton is not treated with chemicals to prevent shrinkage so garments are cut more generously to allow for this shrinkage. Once washed and dried they will have shrunk to the marked size.

GOTS certification guarantees that everybody involved in the production chain is earning fair wage and no child labour is used. By buying GOTS certified products you are not just buying organic, you support sustainability and ethics in textile industry.

Machine wash inside out at 30oc using eco or non bio powder/liquid, line drying and ironing whilst slightly damp for best results.

100% GOTs certified organic cotton which gets softer with every wash.

I was pleased to find organic cotton school shirts, and not too bad value for money.rnI suppose we have been spoiled by the easy iron fabrics from the high street, as I am not used to having to work so hard with the iron to make my son presentable. I'm not sure I will buy these again. I will spend more on other organic products instead.

EcoOutfitters is a new ethical, sustainable school uniform company set up by two mothers who are passionate about improving the standards of school uniforms that our children spend so much time in. It came about after their children started school and they realised that most of their school clothes contained dangerous chemicals treated with stain resistant, crease resistant Teflon coatings, which can be harmful for health and the environment.

Children wear their uniforms for at least 35 hours a week, so these are the most used items of clothing in their wardrobe. Unfortunately, most school outfits are made from either a polycotton mix or plain polyester, which is essentially plastic - a substance derived directly from crude oil. These common fabrics aren't sweat absorbent, don't allow the skin to breathe, and can trigger rashes and aggravate skin conditions such as eczema.

To address this, EcoOutfitters developed a range of school uniforms which are ethically made, healthy, sustainable, and durable too - all made from 100% pure organic cotton certified by GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standards), which guarantees that the whole supply chain from field to final product meets rigorous environmental and social standards.

    Delivered via Evri courier. UK orders will normally be received within 5 working days. Choose this option if you're not in a hurry to receive your order and we'll use the most efficient delivery method possible.
  • Express Delivery - £7.95 (Only available for UK delivery)
    Delivered via DPD courier, requires a signature upon delivery. Delivery next working day for orders placed before 2pm (Mon-Fri). This method will require a signature, please ensure somebody will be available to sign. You will also receive tracking alerts via SMS/email from DPD to keep you updated on your delivery.
  • On orders over £50 standard delivery is FREE and next day delivery is only £5.95
